Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD) at the University of Dundee, Animated Logo title for the Animation Programme Graduate Showcase 2026
As the Lead Lecturer for the final-year Honours program, I stepped into the role of Motion Designer to produce the animated title introduction for the DJCAD Graduate Film Showcase. Recognizing the need for a cohesive, high-quality presentation to introduce our students' final films, I designed a slick, professional intro that set a unified standard for the entire screening.
Technical Breakdown & Pipeline
* Deconstructed and strictly followed the University of Dundee’s official institutional brand guidelines to maintain visual identity and corporate alignment.
* Handled the asset pipeline by importing the official university logo from Adobe Illustrator, converting the vector artwork into clean, native shape layers within Adobe After Effects for optimal scalability.
* Engineered a dynamic, engaging title animation and text layout tailored to transition seamlessly into the diverse range of student animated films.
